We installed the overflow water line for the rear water tank today. These are the pictures of what we did and how easy it was to do. It should be fairly self explanatory.
Basically we waited long enough to see where the water was going to level off at from the input point to where we wanted it to drain out of the tank from. Then we used my Swiss Army Champ knife to carve a hole to install the hose adapter and seal. Then we attached a hose and ran it back to the main creek. And VIOLA done š
Nothing like fresh potable water an absolute essential to any homestead. Or any home for that matter. There is no intelligent life without safe H20. Doing things eco friendly & right the first time, shows that your homestead is a serious genuine undertaking & not a fly-by-night show & tell look-at-me affair. Folks can learn how to do things right & safe by following your site & proven methods & procedures.

get yourself a “Y” connector valve for the summer and use the runoff to water your plants/garden and animals

š Maybe next year we will see. Keep in mind from April through September I will be through hiking the entire Appalachian Trail so wont be doing much at home until next fall.
