The Gwinn Lions Club maintains our local disc golf course. We discussed wanting benches not long ago. A fellow Lion, Dale Vincent, offered to donate the wood to have them built. So I offered to donate the hardware. I collected a couple young teens to help build 6 benches, 3 stools, and 6 new picnic tables as well as refurbish 3 old ones.

We started by pre-cutting all the boards we needed for the benches and tables. So that we could have a fast assembly line. Took us 3 days to make everything and about 1.5 days to paint.

Josh Jacobs and I preferred the Wagnor paint sprayer while Issac Serna hit the boards with brushes. Below Issac is pressure washing one of the old picnic tables prior to painting.

The old, refurbished, and painted picnic tables were donated to the community garden and basketball court. The several newly built picnic tables were sold. 50% of my profit was donated to the community programs, projects, and events that I host.
