I put together a sports program for flag football, cheerleading, soccer, basketball, and fast pitch softball in my neighborhood. All of these sports are being done as day camps except flag football.

Flag football is being coached by 16yo Xander Appleman. He is doing a great job. In fact, this is mostly successful because of him. I just fund it through various grants and donations. The teams are not official, but we will attempt to get official by next year.

These kids are 8yo and up. They are having fun, and everyone is getting along. As a group, they decided on their team name “Sawyer Jets”. I think it’s a great fit. This is an old Airforce base known as “K.I. Sawyer” and now it is a civilian community.

My German Shepherd named Kevin volunteers as the Ball Receiver Specialist…
