Perfect day for kite flying. I took out my favorite kites today to get some exercise. Lizzard kite = 40ft, Octopus kite = 26ft. I tried to fly my new giant 185ft Snake kite, but it was way to powerfull for my strongest reel. Just getting half the snake up in the air 5ft was enough to drag me in the snow, and I weigh 255lbs. It also snapped my strongest line. So I have to order a new reel and line that can accommodate this massive kite. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to get a picture of the snake kite. All of my large kites are pretty strong and take a lot of effort to bring them in. Launching them is fairly easy. The closest thing I can compare to is catching a large Marlin fish.
