Just love that Pixie back in the brooder coop doing what she does best. Looks like Oregano is slowing down. The front garden is really cranking out some nice peppers. You’ve got the onions and tomatoes why not make salsa? Good luck with the hunt. Hope there’s plenty of meat for the pan & jerky for portable protein. into the fall. Guess you’ll have to discuss with the other hunters how to drag the deer out of the woods. Be safe.

Well my friend Jim got the first deer because he is experienced and it was my first time. I didn’t want to risk missing and scaring away them all and none of us getting one. So needless to say no other deer came around after his kill. All good though as the season just started. He is sharing it with me though. We used my deer sled to drag it out. It was a small one but legal. Got some pics to post tomorrow hopefully. Pixie wants to hatch some more but to late in the season.
