Made it to Gatlinburg today after climbing up to Clingmans Dome which is just over 6000 feet high in elevation and the second highest point on the east coast of USA. Will resupply in morning from local grocery store and do some laundry then by afternoon tomorrow be back on the trail again for another week. It poured down rain hard yesterday and I got wet and fairly muddy but was able to get shelter up and get dry and dry clothing by morning. I think I almost have my trail legs but not quite yet. Still doing 8-10 mile day. Been rather cold at night and early mornings here in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Cant wait for summer to officially arrive and be reliable with its HEAT! I love hot days and hate cold ones. I have about 68 pictures for you which seems to be about average for a week lately. Hope you all are enjoying them. You should be able to download the pictures by right clicking on the one you want and select “save to”… If that doesn`t work then you will have to make a note of exactly which picture and what blog where, then ask for it when I get home in October. Anyhow here are the latest pictures for ya…
