Went on a nature hike to Dead River Falls a few days ago. I took along some neighborhood kids that don’t get many opportunities like this. They had a great time exploring. We got some cool pictures as well to share with you all. So here you go…
Dead River Falls Adventure

Hi!! Happy Father’s Day!!! Gramps says HI, too. Your Fathers Day present is here and will come with him in July when he takes you to the doctor visit in the unknown city.Love your hair! I hope the kids had a good time hiking with you. Where is Dear River Falls–is that just to the west of Marquette?? before Presque Isle park??? Your pictures are great and I also loved the homemade river crossing with the birch trees. We spent the day with Grandpa Plamann yesterday and went hiking with Bob & Cathy at High Cliff State Park and then went to see Grandpa again this afternoon. Dad asks what day he is supposed to come and get you so you travel to the city where you have to see the doctor and you stay overnight the night before. He was thinking you said you have an appointment on Monday July 6th. However, won’t that be a holiday since 4th of July is on Saturday ??? Saw some purple martins suing gourd houses at the marina at High Cliff. Gavin, Sara, Britt and Erica and Duane were at our house Friday night. We drove down to Appleton Saturday morning. We were in sunshine today until Antigo, when it started getting cloudy and progressed to black clouds and to a heavy downpour about 5 miles below Three Lakes. It’s been drizzling here ever since. We went from 82 degrees in Appleton to 61 degrees in Conover today. Well, time to get to bed–or take a shower and then go to bed. I get to come back to the library to work tomorrow! We will not be open until after 4th of July, and on a limited basis, but at least Mickee and I get to join Sara and get back closer to normalcy. Love and Kisses, Mom
