The new owners of the Derrick Inn located in Ness City, KS let us stay in their hotel while still renovating it. The hotel was pretty cool. They had the swimming pool and hot tub in the lobby and all of the rooms surrounded it. They also had live trees growing inside the lobby. Nice wide doors for the trikes, and let us keep them in the lobby. It was very affordable and they are cyclist friendly.

Left Ness City, KS at 9 this morning. There were multiple towns for us to regroup in, since we don’t all bike at the same pace. We got into Great Bend, KS around 8:45 tonight.

Talked with a couple of fellow cyclist again today! As always, they were friendly and happy to offer their picture!!

We all appreciated most of the art on a metal shed we passed early on our ride.

It was our longest day yet, 67 miles. But we still found time to talk, laugh, and have fun!!!

Keep on, keeping on. Have fun and above all, stay safe. -Tom & Sandy

Wow that is a lot of miles! Are you guys using 65 psi tires or 100 psi tires?

70 psi on the trikes and 90 psi on the bikes. Tomorrow is 57 miles followed by a 45 the next day.
