A few days ago I went camping in a snow storm. Hiked out into some woods near my home and built a snow shelter for the night. I used two reflective tarps, one for the roof and one for the ground. I dug out a hole in the snow with enough room to set my air mat, bivi sack, and down quit. No fire was made. Temp got as low as 11*F when I checked it at 3am when I got up to water a tree šŸ˜‰ . I was perfectly warm and comfy the whole night. I wore my down pants and puffy jacket which are good for me down to 0*F. It snow most of the night and I woke up in the morning with about 4 inches of fresh snow. My tracks coming were nearly gone. I had a lot of fun and hoping to go back out there soon.
