I live in U.P. Of Michigan. We got to see a 79% eclipse at 3:14pm. It was cloudy and threatening to rain all day. Thankfully it cleared up for about 2hrs giving us a decent view of the eclipse. It felt like the temperature dropped about 10*f.

Addie made a viewing box. Poked a tiny hole in one side and placed a white sheet of paper on the other side. The sun made a dot on the paper and allowed us to see the moon’s shadow. We all thought it was pretty cool.

My best friend Hailey and her kids came over and shared their eclipse glasses. I used a pair of them to place over my cellphone camera to take a few pictures.

I also used a welding lens the same way to get these green pictures.

I have recently purchased a Dwarf Lab 2 telescopic camera. Addie and I are still learning how to use it but we are getting there. Here are some of the pictures we took with it.

I took a picture of the tablet screen that was connected to the Dwarf camera. This is why it looks dusty. But it’s one of my favorites.

These next two pics were taken while practicing with the Dwarf camera.

So there you have it. Hope you enjoyed my very amateur photos.
