December 31st is my birthday and every year I throw a large party to celebrate. I invite everyone in my community to come. I don’t drink myself, never acquired the taste for it, so it’s a safe place for others to come who may have a problem. 

My friend Peps Jacobs makes my ham with her special glaze recipe. Cheyenne Williams makes my cake and mac-n-cheese. And I brought the fruit and veggie trays.  Another friend, Craig Wilson, brought homemade apple turnovers too.

Good food, friends, and fun. Had approximately 30 friends flow through.

My friend Scott Leutz let me use his 906 Cafe for my party every year.

Afterwards, we head downtown for the first ever ball drop in our township. Starts in about 1.5hrs.
