I stayed at the Tuxedo Motel In Southfield NY the other night and I really enjoyed my stay there. It’s kind of like an 80’s throw back type place but very comfy!
The owner and other staff were SUPER NICE!
The rooms start at a very reasonable rate of $54.50 for a single. Keep in mind this is not a big time fancy smancy place but an excellent place for the middle class to save and enjoy.
I would definitely recommend this motel to all my hiker friends and family etc…

Keep up the great work doc, I’m glad ur pushing forward on the AT. Alot have gave up and, a YouTuber who was on the trail with you quit the at of 1k of the AT. Keep your head up and glad and grateful you served our country.

Thanks for the support. I believe I can make it all the way at the moment. What has made it easier is my wife supporting me and sending me my resupplies. Not many hikers have that and it can get hard to get good food at times.

Definitely, I also watched someone else on YouTube who attended AT and she quit while her boyfriend continued AT. All of people can’t handle the stresses and mental toughness required for it.

This has been a rough year for hikers. Heard around half or more dropped out before Harper’s Ferry WVA.

If I was there I’d want to keep going, because I know there’s better then me and knowing your there, I’d keep trying to finish it cause you and other military veterans shed blood for me who are there doing it would give me the initiative to keep at it cause y’all sacrificed for me fighting so I can be free in America
