I am currently rebuilding (with help from several others) my community’s fitness trail left over from when K.I. Sawyer was an Air Force based. It has been abandon for the most part since 1996. I am half way complete. I have the entire trail and all its fitness stations cleared of debris and downed trees. Now I’m ready to rebuild each of the stations. I’ve put together a power point presentation and posted the slides below. I am accepting any cash and/or material donations for the trail needs. See end of slides for materials list and costs. You can donate via our GoFundMe page here… https://www.gofundme.com/f/k-i-sawyer-fitness-trail?utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer

Hey Ryan, this trail looks very cool. Love, Mom in a few weeks Dad and I will be able to travel and see it!

It’s coming along. Funding donations are slow but I’m working on getting people to sponsor exercise stations. Just yesterday someone offered to get the 6 gallons of red stain. That is great because it costs around $257.

We just moved on base for the summer, and were delighted to discover this fitness trail. And then we were even more excited to see improvements being made! Thanks so much. Please know your attention and time to this project are much appreciated.

Thank you. Glad you like it. It took awhile to get all the permissions and materials etc. but its just about complete now. A few minor touches, install the signs, and it will be done.

Just curious, where is the trailhead?

Enter Sawyer from 94 onto Voodoo Ave. The trail is first left off Voodoo Ave. I just got all the new signs made up. Once I have raised enough funds to get posts and hardware then I will get them installed.
