A friend of mine had this old Coca Cola Bench, very similar to one I had restored a while back. She asked if I could restore it for her to put into her shop. So I did my best and this is the procress and results.

First, we took everything apart and were careful not to mess up the metal pieces. Then cut new boards to replace the old ones out of a weather-treat 4×4 post.

We predrilled the holes in all the boards, counter sunk the screws. For the back board we used a high grade plywood and cut out a hole for the Coca Cola sign.

The longest part was spenting a couple of hours sanding everything down.

Once that was done, I checked everything to make sure it was good. Then I broke out my fancy blow torch and burnt everything.

Finished off by putting the metal pieces back on and sent it back to my friend who is going to put a lacquer finish on it at some point.
Thanks for stopping by.
