My friend Hailey rents a house from me. She told me how her 2 awesome kiddos, Georgiana and Finley stay up talking to each other through the wall. So while they were at school, their mom and I installed a talking portal for them to have fun.

First, we used a stud finder to find a gap. Then, we measured where we wanted it. Next, using a keyhole saw, Hailey made the holes. She taped a cardboard box to the wall under the work area to catch the drywall dust.

After cutting out the holes, we fitted the PVC vented pipe end caps. Using some random caulk, we attached them to the wall.

The kids found them rather quickly after school. They were both excited and happy.
