Sorry for the long wait for this update but cell service has been spotty. Hot Springs was fun and had some really good food there. Laughing Heart hostel was very nice there. It took me 4 days roughly to get to Erwin TN. I saw 4 bears along the way. The 4th bear was at 10:30 at night and I had got out of my hammock to go pee in the woods and viola nearly peed on a bears head. Was 5 feet from him. Through stuff and shouted at the bear and it ran off.

All is good with me thus far on the trip and I am hiking 10-12 miles per day at this point. It is STILL raining A LOT !!!
