June 12th was a storm day and I stayed at Addie’s parents house. Rested up and ate some good steak. Then June 13th got up early in the morning checked everything and headed out. Addie parents dropped me off just outside of Watersmeet Michigan. From there my goal was to ride to Crystal Falls. Which was 47 miles from Watersmeet. However when I got to Crystal Falls it was only 1:45 p.m. so I took an hour break for lunch at Subway then headed off to see how far I can make it. It turns out that about two-thirds of the way from Crystal Falls to Iron Mountain is pretty much all downhill so I figured why not. So 70 miles later I’m in Iron Mountain staying at Woodlands Motel for the evening. Tomorrow is supposed to storm pretty bad but I’m going to have to ride in it anyway. At least tonight I get a good shower and a bed so I can be well-rested for the Rainy bike ride tomorrow. It is 55 miles to Escanaba from here. Which I’m hoping to make tomorrow if at all possible. I’m hoping it’s much like today as in steady flat land or a lot of downhill. It should be an experience either way.

Here are some pictures and videos from today’s ride…

Today’s ride took me in and out of Michigan and Wisconsin. And I ran into some Critters…

Here’s a look at the motel room I’m staying in tonight. Kind of a strange layout…
