We took our kayaks out to Little Trout Lake this weekend. But first I enslaved some children to scrub the kayaks clean as they hadn’t been used for a few years.
Once at the lake Addie helped me rinse the sand out of my kayak…
Then we climbed in and went paddling…
A plane took off from the nearby airport and I got some good pictures of it…
Addie paddled around near the shore looking for animals. She got a few interesting pics of the shore line in attempts to capture birds…
Finished off the day doing some balance practice…
Then headed back to shore…
The temp was just right and the water was warm and not to much sun. We have fun and hope to get back out soon on some other lakes.

Encouraging outdoor water sports & sharing the joy of children is a wonderful thing. Every child will remember prepping those kayaks for summertime fun. You and Addie are a wonderful couple and excellent neighbors.
